- キャビティ開口を有するキャビティに収容された薬剤粉末を空気流中に混入させる方法であって、‐キャビティ開口に沿ってキャビティ外部を空気流が通過するよう供給するステップで、供給された空気流が最初は第1の流動パターンを有するステップと、‐前記供給された第1の流動パターンをキャビティ開口の上流で第1の流動パターンよりも大型の渦を有する第2の流動パターンへ変化させるステップと、‐キャビティ開口に沿って、前記第2の流動パターンを有する空気流を通過させ、それによって該空気流中への粉末の混入に寄与する渦流をキャビティ内に生成するステップとを含む、方法。
- 前記第2の流動パターンへの変化ステップは、キャビティ上流の流路内に配置されて空気流がそれを巻いて流れるようにする障害物により達成する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 空気流の速度と障害物の寸法ならびに形状は障害物の下流にフォンカルマン渦を生成するよう構成する、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記第2の流動パターンを有する空気流を、その主流動方向がキャビティ開口を形成する縁に合致する平面に実質平行となるよう導くステップを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第1の流動パターンを有する空気流を、キャビティ開口を形成する縁に合致する平面に対し傾斜させて導くステップと、空気流が前記平面に実質平行に導かれる前に、前記第2の流流動パターンへの変化を果たすステップとを含む、請求項4記載の方法。
- 医用投薬器であって、粉末収容キャビティと、キャビティの上流と下流の両方に位置する平坦面領域を備える流路とを備え、前記平坦面領域が前記キャビティ内への開口を備え、開口は縁によって形成されており、ここで平坦面領域が縁に合致する平面内または縁に合致する平面に平行な平面内に横たわっており、キャビティ上流の流路内に障害物を設け、この障害物を巻いて空気流が流れるようにする、医用投薬器。
- 前記障害物は、流路形成壁部から突出する、請求項6記載の医用投薬器。
- 前記流路形成壁部は前記平坦面領域の上流にこれに合流させて配設し、前記平坦面領域に対し傾斜させた、請求項7記載の医用投薬器。
- 主流動方向に垂直に、障害物は流路の断面積の約5〜25%、相応しくは約5〜15%の如く約5〜20%の断面積を有する、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項記載の医用投薬器。
- 前記粉末収容キャビティは複数の個別流路を有する複数の粉末収容キャビティのうちの1つであり、前記障害物は複数の障害物のうちの1つであり、各障害物は個々の流路に関連付けてある、請求項6〜9のいずれか1項記載の医用投薬器。
- 投薬器は、前記キャビティ内に収容された薬剤粉末を吸入することのできる吸い口または経鼻アダプタを備える吸入器の形とした、請求項6〜10のいずれか1項記載の医用投薬器。
