Claims (25)

  1. 血管の動脈瘤のネックを覆うように脳血管内に配置可能な動脈瘤閉塞デバイスであって、
    このデバイスは、管腔を有する管状要素を備え、この管状要素は、複数の間隙を包含する閉塞側壁を含んでおり、前記間隙の大きさは、前記血管から前記側壁を通る前記動脈瘤内への血液の流れを少なくとも部分的に閉塞させるのに充分に小さくされていると共に、前記間隙の大きさは、前記管腔内の第一領域と前記管腔外の第二領域内との間の液圧差に応じて、前記血管と側枝血管との間の前記側壁を通る流体の流れを可能とするように調整される閉塞デバイス。
  2. 前記間隙は、前記液圧差に応じて拡張可能であることにより、前記側壁を通る流体の流れを可能とする請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  3. 前記管状要素が、前記間隙を間に有する複数のバンドと、前記側壁の基端部から前記側壁の末端部まで伸びる少なくとも二つの細長部材とを含み、各バンドが、前記細長部材の一つに接続された少なくとも一端を含む請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  4. 各バンドが、第一の前記細長部材に接続された第一端と、第二の前記細長部材に接続された第二端とを含む請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  5. 前記バンドが、前記液圧差に応じて可撓であることにより前記間隙が拡張する請求項2に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  6. 前記バンドが互いに平行である請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  7. 前記細長部材が、前記側壁の基端部から前記側壁の末端部まで縦方向に延伸する請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  8. 前記細長部材が湾曲を含む請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  9. 前記管状要素が、2個と8個との間の細長部材を含む請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  10. 前記細長部材が、前記基端部から前記末端部まで螺旋状に延伸する請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  11. 前記バンドが、第一の幅を有する第一部分と、第二の幅を有する第二部分とを含み、その第一の幅は第二の幅より大きい請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  12. 前記バンドが頂端を有するv形のバンドであって、その頂端が縦方向に延伸する請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  13. 前記バンドが、前記頂端で結合された第一の脚及び第二の脚を有し、その第一の脚は第二の脚よりも幅が広い請求項11に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  14. 前記管状要素が外部管状要素であると共に、前記閉塞デバイスが、第二閉塞側壁を有する内部管状要素を更に含み、前記内部管状要素は、第二閉塞側壁を前記外部管状要素の前記側壁に重ねるようにして前記外部管状要素の前記管腔内に配置可能である請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  15. 前記第二閉塞側壁が、複数の第二バンドと、前記第二側壁の基端部から前記第二側壁の末端部まで伸びる少なくとも二つの第二細長部材とを含み、各第二バンドが、前記第二細長部材の一つに接続された少なくとも一端を含む請求項14に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  16. 前記外部管状要素の前記細長部材が、第一方向に螺旋状に延伸し、且つ前記内部管状要素の前記第二細長部材が、前記第一方向とは反対の第二方向に螺旋状に延伸する請求項15に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  17. 第一方向が時計方向であり、且つ第二方向が反時計方向である請求項16に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  18. 第一方向が反時計方向であり、前記第一方向が時計方向である請求項16に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  19. 前記閉塞デバイスは、前記閉塞側壁の前記外周周辺で機能的に均一である請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  20. 前記管状部材が、シース内の圧縮された姿勢から、血管内で拡張された姿勢へ半径方向に拡張可能であり、前記管状部材が、前記圧縮された姿勢において、前記拡張された姿勢における長さよりも15%以下の分量だけ長い長さを有する請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  21. 前記管状部材は、内径2mm以下のマイクロカテーテルへの挿入に適した直径に圧縮可能であるように大きさが調整される請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  22. 前記管状要素が、前記閉塞側壁部の基端に配置された基端区画と、前記閉塞側壁部の末端に配置された末端区画とを含み、前記基端及び末端区画が、血流に対して前記閉塞側壁部よりも閉塞性でない側壁を含む、請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  23. 前記側壁は、非網状であって、且つ不織である請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  24. 前記バンドと前記細長要素が、長い管から切断される請求項14に記載の閉塞デバイス。
  25. 前記管状部材が、第一血管内に配置可能な第一端と、第二及び第三血管内に配置可能な分岐区画を有する分岐した第二端とを含む請求項1に記載の閉塞デバイス。
