Abstract
【解決手段】一対の基板間に液晶層LQを保持した構成の液晶表示装置であって、複数の画素PXを備えた表示エリアDSPと、画素PXの行方向Hに延在する走査線Yと、画素PXの列方向Vに延在する信号線Xと、画素PX毎に配置され、複数のスリットSLを有する画素電極EPと、画素電極EPと層間絶縁膜ILを介して対向する第1コモン電極COM1と、画素電極EPと同一層において、スリットSLと平行に延在し、画素電極EPと対向する第2コモン電極COM2と、を備えたことを特徴とする。

一対の基板間に液晶層を保持した構成の液晶表示装置であって、
複数の画素を備えた表示エリアと、
前記画素の行方向に延在する走査線と、
前記画素の列方向に延在する信号線と、
前記画素毎に配置され、複数のスリットを有する画素電極と、
前記画素電極と層間絶縁膜を介して対向する第1コモン電極と、
前記画素電極と同一層において、前記スリットと平行に延在し、前記画素電極と対向する第2コモン電極と、を備えたことを特徴とする。

- 一対の基板間に液晶層を保持した構成の液晶表示装置であって、
複数の画素を備えた表示エリアと、
前記画素の行方向に延在する走査線と、
前記画素の列方向に延在する信号線と、
前記画素毎に配置され、複数のスリットを有する画素電極と、
前記画素電極と層間絶縁膜を介して対向する第1コモン電極と、
前記画素電極と同一層において、前記スリットと平行に延在し、前記画素電極と対向する第2コモン電極と、
を備えたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記スリットは、列方向と平行に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2コモン電極は、前記信号線と重なるように配置されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2コモン電極は、開口を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載された液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極及び第2コモン電極が同一導電材料によって形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載された液晶表示装置。
