Abstract
【解決手段】裁断したポリ塩化ビニル材料(PVC)を極性良溶媒に溶解させるPVC溶解工程11と、均一化した溶液と極性良溶媒と混ざり合わない液体とを接触させて溶液中の鉛化合物を凝集させる撹拌工程15と、PVC中に含有する鉛化合物を含む無機物を分離する自然沈降又は遠心分離工程16からなるものである。

Description
(i)溶媒に溶解 → (ii)ろ過 → (iii)鉛分離(遠心分離) →
(iv)溶媒蒸発・回収 → (v)PVC回収
からなるものである。
試料(PVC)の形状は、特に問わないが溶解速度を速めるため20mm角以下、できれば5mm角以下が望ましい。これを超える場合は、適当な装置により当該サイズ以下に裁断又は粉砕する。
PVCをTHF(テトラビドロフラン;沸点66℃)、MEK(メチルエチルケトン;沸点79.5℃)、N−メチルピロリドン(沸点202℃)等の極性良溶媒中で加熱溶解する。この溶解は、試料1gに対して極性良溶媒を10〜30ccとなるように加え、また加熱は、極性良溶媒の沸点近くの温度で行うことで、PVCが溶解される。
PVCの溶解により、組成物以外のゴミ・砂等の不溶解物をろ過で異物として除去21する。このろ過は、主に大きい粒子径の粒子や異物除去を目的に使用する。
第1ろ過工程12で異物除去21された溶液が高濃度塩水との接触の有無を判断し、遠心分離14を行うか、高濃度塩水を加えた後の撹拌を行うかを判断する。
不溶解物を除去したPVCの溶解液に、極性良溶媒と混じり合わない液体として、高濃度塩水22を加えられた溶液を撹拌することで、鉛化合物等の無機化合物微粒子を凝集させる。
撹拌工程15で、PVCの溶解液に高濃度塩水22を加えて撹拌した溶液を自然沈降又は遠心分離により鉛化合物沈殿除去23を行う。
無機物分離後の溶液(PVC+溶剤+水)を、イオン交換樹脂を用いて、PVCの溶解した溶液中に溶存している鉛イオンを除去する。
上澄み(PVC+溶剤+可塑剤)溶液をPVCの貧溶媒24と接触させてPVCを沈殿させる。貧溶媒24としては、例えば水、メタノール、温水等である。
PVCを沈殿させた溶液をろ過し、PVCを回収25し、その後、乾燥により再生PVCを得ることができる。
ろ液として残った溶剤と水から、PVCの極性良溶媒と貧溶媒を分離し、この分離した溶剤を極性良溶媒として、PVC溶解工程11に再利用する。

Claims (5)
- 裁断したポリ塩化ビニル材料(PVC)を極性良溶媒に溶解させた溶液と極性良溶媒と混ざり合わない液体とを接触させた後、PVC中に含有する鉛化合物を含む無機物を分離回収することを特徴とするポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物等の無機物を除去する方法。
- PVCの極性良溶媒が、テトラビドロフラン(THF)、メチルエチルケトン(MEK)、N−メチルピロリドンおよび塩化メチレン(ジクロロメタン)である請求項1記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物等の無機物を除去する方法。
- 極性良溶媒に混ざり合わない液体が、塩水である請求項1記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物等の無機物を除去する方法。
- PVC中に含有する鉛化合物を含む無機物を、ろ過、自然沈降、遠心分離、サイクロンまたはこれらの組み合わせで、分離回収する請求項1記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物等の無機物を除去する方法。
- PVC中に含有する鉛化合物を含む無機物を分離回収後,更にPVCを含有する溶液をイオン交換樹脂或いはキレート溶液と接触させ、溶液中に残った鉛イオン、無機イオンを除去する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物等の無機物を除去する方法。
