Description
(i)溶媒に溶解 → (ii)ろ過 → (iii)鉛分離(遠心分離) →
(iv)溶媒蒸発・回収 → (v)PVC回収
からなるものである。
試料(PVC)の形状は、特に問わないが溶解速度を速めるため20mm角以下、できれば5mm角以下が望ましい。これを超える場合は、適当な装置により当該サイズ以下に裁断又は粉砕する。
PVCを、あらかじめ適量の水を含んだTHF(テトラヒドロフラン;沸点66℃)、MEK(メチルエチルケトン;沸点79.5℃)、N−メチルピロリドン(沸点202℃)等の極性良溶媒中で加熱溶解する。この溶解は、試料1gに対して極性良溶媒を10〜30ccとなるように加え、また加熱は、極性良溶媒の沸点近くの温度で行うことで、PVCの溶解が促進される。
PVCの溶解により、組成物以外のゴミ・砂等の不溶解物をろ過で異物として除去19する。このろ過は、主に大きい粒子径の粒子や異物除去を目的に使用する。
水を加えたPVCの溶解液に遠心力をかけて、鉛化合物の凝集及びゲル状となったPVCで凝集された鉛化合物の沈澱除去20を行う。
無機物分離後の溶液(PVC+溶剤+水)を、イオン交換樹脂を用いて、PVCの溶解した溶液中に溶存している鉛イオンを除去する。
上澄み(PVC+溶剤+可塑剤)溶液をPVCの貧溶媒21と接触させてPVCを沈澱させる。貧溶媒24としては、例えば水、メタノール、温水等である。
PVCを沈澱させた溶液をろ過し、PVCを回収22し、その後、乾燥により再生PVCを得ることができる。
ろ液として残った溶剤と水から、PVCの極性良溶媒と貧溶媒を分離し、この分離した溶剤を極性良溶媒として、PVC溶解工程11に再利用する。

Claims (6)
- 裁断したポリ塩化ビニル材料(PVC)を極性良溶媒に溶解した溶液中に、PVCの一部がゲル状となる量の水を添加してPVCを溶解させるか、もしくは、あらかじめPVCの一部がゲル状となる量の水を極性良溶媒に添加してからPVCを溶解させ、その溶解液中の鉛化合物を含む無機物を、ゲル状となったPVCで凝集させると共にそのゲル状のPVCを沈澱させ、沈澱したゲル状のPVCから鉛化合物を含む無機物を遠心分離により分離回収することを特徴とするポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物を含む無機物を除去する方法。
- 裁断したポリ塩化ビニル材料(PVC)を極性良溶媒に溶解した溶液中に、PVCの一部がゲル状となる量の水を添加してPVCを溶解させるか、もしくは、あらかじめPVCの一部がゲル状となる量の水を極性良溶媒に添加してからPVCを溶解させ、PVC、水、極性良溶媒からなる溶解液を常圧下で、かつ上記極性良溶媒の沸点以下の条件で撹拌した後、ゲル状のPVCを沈澱させてPVCから鉛化合物を含む無機物を遠心分離により分離回収する請求項1に記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物を含む無機物を除去する方法。
- PVCの極性良溶媒が、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)、メチルエチルケトン(MEK)、N−メチルピロリドンおよび塩化メチレン(ジクロロメタン)である請求項1に記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物を含む無機物を除去する方法。
- PVCの一部がゲル状となる量の水の組成が、純水または水酸化鉛、リン酸鉛を生成する化合物を含む請求項1に記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物を含む無機物を除去する方法。
- PVC中に含有する鉛化合物を含む無機物を分離回収後、更に溶液と無機イオンを除去できるキレート溶液又はイオン交換樹脂と接触させることで、溶液中に残った鉛イオン、無機イオンを除去する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物を含む無機物を除去する方法。
- 沈澱したゲル状のPVCを、再度極性良溶媒に溶解し、再度PVC中の鉛化合物を凝集させて、鉛化合物を含む無機物を遠心分離により分離回収する請求項1記載のポリ塩化ビニル材料から鉛化合物を含む無機物を除去する方法。
