Abstract
【解決手段】交差点を曲がることができるタイミングを示す道路標識が交差点またはその付近に設けられている地域において用いられる車両用ナビゲーション装置において、交差点を曲がることができるタイミングをその交差点の位置と対応付けて記憶しておき、車両の現在位置が予定走行経路において曲がるべき交差点の所定距離手前となり(S20がYES)、その交差点を曲がることができるタイミングが記憶されている場合(S30がYES)には、その交差点を曲がるべきことに加えて、曲がることができるタイミングをスピーカを用いて運転者に報知する(S50)。

Claims (1)
- 交差点を曲がることができるタイミングを示す道路標識が前記交差点またはその付近に設けられている地域において用いられる車両用ナビゲーション装置であって、
交差点を曲がることができるタイミングをその交差点の位置と対応付けて記憶した記憶装置と、
車両の予定走行経路を設定する経路設定手段と、
前記車両の現在位置を逐次検出する位置検出器と、
その位置検出器によって検出された現在位置が、前記経路設定手段によって設定された予定走行経路において曲がるべき交差点の所定距離手前であって、且つ、その交差点が前記記憶装置にタイミングが記憶されている交差点であることに基づいて、その交差点を曲がるべきことを運転者に報知するとともに、その交差点を曲がることができるタイミングを前記記憶装置の記憶内容に基づいて決定して、その交差点を曲がることができるタイミングも運転者に報知する報知手段と
を含むことを特徴とする車両用ナビゲーション装置。
