Abstract
【解決手段】一部が塩基性化合物で中和された0.1〜10質量%の不飽和カルボン酸成分を有するスチレン−オレフィン樹脂を含有する樹脂水性分散体。特に不揮発性水性化助剤をスチレン−オレフィン樹脂100質量部に対して5質量部以下含有する前記の樹脂水性分散体。さらに、スチレン−オレフィン樹脂中のスチレン成分の含有量が5〜50質量%であることを特徴とする前記樹脂水性分散体。

すなわち本発明の要旨は、以下のとおりである。
(1)一部が塩基性化合物で中和された0.1〜10質量%の不飽和カルボン酸成分を有するスチレン−オレフィン樹脂を含有する樹脂水性分散体。
(2)不揮発性水性化助剤をスチレン−オレフィン樹脂100質量部に対して5質量部以下含有する(1)記載の樹脂水性分散体。
(3)スチレン−オレフィン樹脂中のスチレン成分の含有量が5〜50質量%であることを特徴とする(1)または(2)記載の樹脂水性分散体。
(4)スチレン−オレフィン樹脂の主骨格が、スチレン−エチレン/ブチレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー(SEBS)である(1)〜(3)いすれかに記載の樹脂水性分散体。
(5)(1)〜(4)のいずれかに記載の樹脂水性分散体を含有するプライマー、接着剤または塗料。
(6)(1)〜(4)のいずれかに記載の水性分散体から水性媒体を除去して得られる塗膜。
(7)(6)記載の塗膜を基材上に形成させた積層体。
(8)基材の材質がポリオレフィン樹脂またはゴムである(7)記載の積層体。
1.水性分散体の特性
(1)水性分散体の固形分濃度
水性分散体を適量秤量し、これを150℃で残存物(固形分)の質量が恒量に達するまで加熱し、固形分濃度を求めた。
日機装株式会社製、マイクロトラック粒度分布計UPA150(MODEL No.9340、動的光散乱法)を用い、数平均粒子径を求めた。ここで、粒子径算出に用いる樹脂の屈折率は1.50とした。
島津製作所社製ガスクロマトグラフGC−8A〔FID検出器使用、キャリアーガス:窒素、カラム充填物質(ジーエルサイエンス社製):PEG−HT(5%)−Uniport HP(60/80メッシュ)、カラムサイズ:直径3mm×3m、試料投入温度(インジェクション温度):150℃、カラム温度:60℃、内部標準物質:n−ブタノール〕を用い、水性分散体または水性分散体を水で希釈したものを直接装置内に投入して、有機溶剤の含有率を求めた。検出限界は0.01質量%であった。
以下の評価においては、合成紙としてポリプロピレン系合成紙であるユポ紙(FGS−95、ユポコーポレーション社製)、熱可塑性樹脂フィルムとして、PPフィルム(出光ユニテック社製、スーパーピュアレイ、300μm)、未延伸PPフィルム(CPP)(東レ社製、60μm)、延伸PPフィルム(OPP)(東セロ社製、20μm)、ゴム系材料として黒天然ゴム板(雨林製作所社の科学機器総合カタログ2004−2005、商品番号15−18−13−05)を用いた。
OPPフィルムの未処理面に水性分散体を乾燥後の塗布量が2g/m2になるようにマイヤーバーを用いてコートした後、100℃で2分間、乾燥させた。得られたコートフィルムは室温で1日放置後、評価した。コートフィルムを40℃の水に1日浸漬した後、塗膜の状態を評価した。
基材に水性分散体を乾燥後の塗布量が1g/m2になるようにマイヤーバーを用いてコートした後、80℃で2分間、乾燥させた。得られた積層体は室温で1日放置後、評価した。塗膜表面に粘着テープ(ニチバン社製TF−12)を貼り付け、テープを一気に剥がした場合の剥がれの程度を目視で評価した。
基材に塗料を乾燥後の塗布量が1g/m2になるようにマイヤーバーを用いてコートした後、80℃で2分間、乾燥させた。得られた積層体は室温で1日放置後、評価した。塗膜表面に粘着テープ(ニチバン社製TF−12)を貼り付け、テープを一気に剥がした場合の剥がれの程度を目視で評価した。
水性分散体を合成紙またはCPPの非コロナ面に乾燥後の塗布量が4g/m2になるようにマイヤーバーを用いてコートした後、90℃で2分間、乾燥させた。得られたコートフィルムの塗膜(コート面)が接するようにして、ヒートプレス機(シール圧0.3MPaで10秒間)にて120℃でプレスした。このサンプルを15mm幅で切り出し、1日後、引張試験機(インテスコ株式会社製インテスコ精密万能材料試験機2020型)を用い、引張速度200mm/分、引張角度180度で塗膜の剥離強度を測定することでヒートシール性(ヒートシール強度)を評価した。
ヒーター付きの密閉できる耐圧1リットル容ガラス容器を備えた撹拌機を用いて、60gのスチレン−オレフィン樹脂(クレイトンFG1901X、クレイトンポリマージャパン社製マレイン酸変性SEBS)、1.5gの乳化剤(ニューポールPE−75、三洋化成社製)、2gのトリエチルアミン(和光純薬社製)、300gのテトラヒドロフラン(和光純薬社製)をガラス容器内に仕込み、撹拌翼の回転速度を300rpmとして系内温度60℃で溶解させた。その後、系内温度が40℃になるまで冷却した後、回転数を1000rpmとし、2gのトリエチルアミンと238gの蒸留水との混合液をゆっくり加えていき樹脂を乳化させた。その後、容器を密閉し、回転数300rpmで系内温度150℃に保って1時間攪拌した。その後、空冷にて、回転速度300rpmのまま攪拌しつつ室温(約25℃)まで冷却した後、300メッシュのステンレス製フィルター(線径0.035mm、平織)で加圧濾過(空気圧0.2MPa)し、さらに、ロータリーエバポレーターで水性分散体中の溶剤を除去し、固形分が20%となるように水を添加して乳白色の樹脂水性分散体E−1を得た。
ヒーター付きの密閉できる耐圧1リットルオートクレーブ容器を備えた撹拌機を用いて、60.0gの60gのスチレン−オレフィン樹脂(クレイトンFG1901X)、100.0gのテトラヒドロフラン(和光純薬社製)、10gのトルエン(和光純薬社製)、2.5gのN,N−ジメチルエタノールアミン(和光純薬社製)および127.5gの蒸留水をガラス容器内に仕込み、撹拌翼の回転速度を300rpmとして系内温度を190℃に保ってさらに1時間撹拌した。その後、空冷にて、回転速度300rpmのまま攪拌しつつ室温(約25℃)まで冷却した後、300メッシュのステンレス製フィルター(線径0.035mm、平織)で加圧濾過(空気圧0.2MPa)した。固形分を20%になるように調製するために水を添加し、さらに、ロータリーエバポレーターで水性分散体中の溶剤を除去し、乳白色の樹脂水性分散体E−2を得た。
実施例2で得られたE−2の固形分100質量部に対して粘着付与剤(ナノレットR−1050、ヤスハラケミカル社製)を固形分で20質量部になるように攪拌下、混合して樹脂水性分散体E−3を得た。
ヒーター付きの密閉できる耐圧1リットル容ガラス容器を備えた撹拌機を用いて、60.0gのポリオレフィン樹脂(ボンダインHX−8290、アルケマ社製)、60.0gのイソプロパノール(和光純薬社製)、2.5gのトリエチルアミン(和光純薬社製)および177.5gの蒸留水をガラス容器内に仕込み、撹拌翼の回転速度を300rpmとして撹拌したところ、容器底部には樹脂粒状物の沈澱は認められず、浮遊状態となっていることが確認された。そこでこの状態を保ちつつ、10分後にヒーターの電源を入れ加熱した。そして系内温度を120℃に保ってさらに20分間撹拌した。その後、空冷にて、回転速度300rpmのまま攪拌しつつ室温(約25℃)まで冷却した後、300メッシュのステンレス製フィルター(線径0.035mm、平織)で加圧濾過(空気圧0.2MPa)し、乳白色のポリオレフィン樹脂水性分散体H−1を得た。
実施例1〜3で得られた水性分散体に顔料を添加して水性塗料を調製した。
Claims (8)
- 一部が塩基性化合物で中和された0.1〜10質量%の不飽和カルボン酸成分を有するスチレン−オレフィン樹脂を含有する樹脂水性分散体。
- 不揮発性水性化助剤をスチレン−オレフィン樹脂100質量部に対して5質量部以下含有する請求項1記載の樹脂水性分散体。
- スチレン−オレフィン樹脂中のスチレン成分の含有量が5〜50質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の樹脂水性分散体。
- スチレン−オレフィン樹脂の主骨格が、スチレン−エチレン/ブチレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー(SEBS)である請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の樹脂水性分散体。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の樹脂水性分散体を含有するプライマー、接着剤または塗料。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の水性分散体から水性媒体を除去して得られる塗膜。
- 請求項6記載の塗膜を基材上に形成させた積層体。
- 基材の材質がポリオレフィン樹脂またはゴムである請求項7記載の積層体。
