末梢血流の改善作用を示す組成物が開示されている(特許文献7)。
しかしながら、マカまたはそのエキスもまた特有の不快味、臭みがあり、健康食品に使用する場合、その風味が嗜好上問題となる場合がある。

しかも、大豆ペプチドとマカエキスそれぞれ単独で摂取するよりも各素材を組み合わせた方が疲労回復、冷え・肩こり、イライラ、むくみ、肌荒れの改善などの健康効果がより高いことが確認された。
