Description
Claims (34)
- 哺乳動物の肉体の組織に関連して使用する注入装置であって、第1管状部材と、第1管状部材内に滑動自在に配置された第2管状部材とを備え、前記第1管状部材および前記第2管状部材は、それぞれが近位端及び遠位端を有しており、前記第2管状部材の遠位端には、前記第1の管状部材の遠位端から伸張自在であるニードルと、前記第1管状部材および前記第2管状部材のそれぞれの近位端によって保持されて前記第2管状部材の近位端を前記第1管状部材の近位端と相関的にロックさせるようにした手段とが設けられており、前記第2管状部材は、前記第1管状部材の内部にロックされている時は、柱状強度を有しており、ニードルで組織を穿刺している間は、前記第2管状部材が前記第1管状部材に相関的に後退するのを制限するようにしたことを特徴とする注入装置。
- 前記ニードルは金属で形成されており、前記第2管状部材は細長い部分が可塑材で形成されているとともに、ショルダーで終端しており、前記ニードルは前記細長い部分に取り付けられて、前記ショルダーよりも前方へ伸張することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第2管状部材には通路が設けられており、少なくとも1個の光学素子が、前記通路に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1個の光学素子は、組織に光を供給する第1の光学素子と、組織からの反射光を受光する第2の光学素子とから成ることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ニードルはその遠位面が一平面に在り、前記少なくとも1個の光学素子はその端面が該遠位面の角度で傾斜しているとともに遠位面と同一平面に在ることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記第2管状部材は長手方向軸線に沿って延び、前記ニードルは、その遠位面が、前記長手方向軸線に対して25度よりも大きい角度で傾斜していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記遠位面は前記長手方向軸線に対して約30度の角度で傾斜していることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記第2管状部材は長手方向軸線に沿って延び、前記ニードルはその遠位面が長手方向軸線に対して或る角度で傾斜し、ニードルには該遠位面と交差して先鋭な尖端を形成する傾斜が設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 生体適合性化合物および生体適合性溶剤を含む少なくとも1種の溶液の供給源を更に備えており、該供給源は前記第2管状部材の近位端に接続されて、哺乳動物の体内の組織に移植片を形成するようにしたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記生体適合性化合物としては、生体適合性プレポリマーが挙げられることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記生体適合性化合物と前記生体適合性溶剤を含む前記少なくとも1種の溶液としては、約2.5重量パーセントから約8.0重量パーセントの範囲の生体適合性重合体と、約10重量パーセントから約40重量パーセントの範囲の水不溶性の生体適合性造影剤と、約52重量パーセントから約87.5重量パーセントの範囲の生体適合性溶剤とを含む化合物が挙げられることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 哺乳動物の肉体の組織に物質を導入する注入装置であって、長手方向軸線方向に延びる管腔が設けられた第1管状部材と、前記第1管状部材の管腔内に滑動自在に配置された第2管状部材とを備えており、前記第1管状部材および前記第2管状部材は、それぞれが近位端及び遠位端を有しており、前記第2管状部材の遠位端には、前記第1の管状部材の遠位端から伸張自在であるニードルが設けられており、前記注入装置は、前記第2管状部材の近位端に接続された生体適合性化合物および生体適合性溶剤から成る溶液の貯蔵器を更に備えており、前記第1管状部材の近位端にはポートが設けられており、前記注入装置は、前記ポートに接続された生体適合性溶剤の貯蔵器を更に備えており、前記ポートより遠位で前記第1管状部材を詰まらせている生体適合性化合物を洗浄するようにしたことを特徴とする注入装置。
- 前記第1管状部材と前記第2管状部材の間で前記ポートより近位に配置された流体封止部材を更に備えていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記生体適合性化合物としては、生体適合性プレポリマーが挙げられることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記請求項化合物としては、生体適合性重合体が挙げられることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 注入可能な物質と一緒に使用する注入装置であって、注射器と、ニードルと、該ニードルを前記注射器に接続するとともに、前記注入可能な物質の圧力を監視する圧力インジケータとを備えることを特徴とする注入装置。
- 前記圧力インジケータはスプリングを搭載した圧力インジケータであることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記圧力インジケータは可撓性の膜圧インジケータであることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 注入可能な物質と一緒に使用する注入装置であって、注入可能な物質を受け入れるようにしたチャンバーが設けられた注射器と、ニードルと、前記注射器に接続されて前記注入可能な物質の圧力を監視する圧力インジケータとを備えることを特徴とする注入装置。
- 前記圧力インジケータとしては、前記注射器と前記ニードルとの間に配置された、スプリングが搭載された圧力インジケータが挙げられることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記圧力インジケータとしては、前記注射器と前記ニードルとの間に配置された、可撓性膜圧インジケータが挙げられることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記注射器はプランジャーを備えており、前記圧力インジケータはプランジャーによって保持されたクラッチを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記プランジャーは、外側に、ねじが設けられることを特徴とする、請求項22に記載の装置。
- 注入可能な物質と一緒に使用するねじ式注射器であって、前記注射器は、注入可能な物質を保有するようにしたチャンバーを形成しているバレルと、該バレルとねじ式に嵌合するプランジャーと、該プランジャーによって保持されているとともに、前記プランジャーの前方に向けて前記チャンバー内へと延びて、前記バレルと相関的に前記プランジャーを回転させると、前記材料を撹拌するミキサーとを備えることを特徴とする注射器。
- 前記バレルは前方壁を備えており、前記プランジャーはスプリングを設けて、前記ミキサーを付勢して該前方壁を押圧するようにしたことを特徴とする、請求項24の注射器。
- 前記プランジャーには前記ミキサーの少なくとも一部を受け入れる陥凹部が設けられており、前記スプリングは陥凹部に配置されて、ミキサーと係合することを特徴とする、請求項25に記載の注射器。
- 前記ミキサーはU字型であることを特徴とする、請求項24に記載の注射器。
- 近位端および遠位端を有し、第2管状部材の通路に滑動自在に配置された第1管状部材と、第1管状部材に接続されている生体適合性化合物および生体適合性溶剤から成る溶液の貯蔵器とを備えている医療装置を、哺乳動物の肉体を治療する処置手順の間に作動させる方法であって、該方法は、該装置組立体の遠位端を体内に挿入する段階と、第1管状部材を通して該溶液を導入して肉体を治療する段階と、第2管状部材が少なくとも一部は体内に配置されたままである間に、第2管状部材から第1管状部材を引き出す段階と、第2管状部材の通路を清浄にして空にする段階と、第1管状部材を第2管状部材の通路に戻す段階と、肉体の治療を継続する段階とを含んでいることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記清浄にする段階は、流体で前記第2管状部材の通路を洗い流す段階を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 通路を設けた細長いプローブ部材と併用するための方法であって、前記挿入する段階は、体内に細長いプローブ部材を導入する段階と、細長いプローブ部材を通すことにより第1管状部材および第2管状部材を体内に挿入する段階とを含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 近位端および遠位端と少なくとも1個の光学素子とを有しているニードルであって、該光学素子が該ニードルの該近位端から該遠位端までの間の通路内に延びるニードルを利用して哺乳動物の体内の組織を治療する方法が、ニードルの遠位端を体組織に挿入する段階と、該少なくとも1個の光学素子を利用して組織の種類を判定する段階とを含んでいることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記判定する段階は、前記少なくとも1個の光学素子を利用して体組織に応答信号を送り、ミオグロビンまたはヘモグロビンが存在していることを検知する段階を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記判定する段階は、前記少なくとも1個の光学素子を利用して体組織に応答信号を送り、組織内の酸素飽和量を判定する段階を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記判定する段階は、前記少なくとも1個の光学素子に光を供給する、すなわち、前記体組織に光を供給する段階と、該組織からの反射光を監視する段階とを含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項31に記載の方法。
