Abstract
【解決手段】 芳香族ビニル化合物単位からなる重合体ブロック(A)を1個以上およびイソブチレン単位からなる重合体ブロック(B)を1個以上有し、重合体ブロック(A)中に、炭素数1〜8のアルキル基の少なくとも1個がベンゼン環に結合したアルキルスチレンに由来する構造単位を重合体ブロック(A)の質量に対して1質量%以上の割合で有するブロック共重合体(I)、架橋剤(II)、および架橋助剤(III)を含有し、少なくともブロック共重合体(I)中のアルキルスチレンのアルキル基が、架橋助剤(III)と溶融条件下に動的に架橋させたエラストマー組成物とする。

架橋剤(II)が有機過酸化物であるエラストマー組成物、
架橋助剤(III)がビスマレイミド系化合物であるエラストマー組成物が挙げられる。このうち、ビスマレイミド系化合物は、ベンゼン環に結合したアルキル基部分および不飽和二重結合部分で架橋を生じさせ得るビスマレイミド系化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物であるのが好ましい。
実施例、比較例で得られた試料1gをトルエン中に保持し100℃に12時間保つ抽出処理を行い、抽出処理後、抽出残渣を分離して真空乾燥し、抽出残渣の質量を測定して、抽出処理前の試料の質量に対する質量%を求めてゲル分率とした。
JIS K 6262に準拠し、試験片は12.0mm厚さプレスシートを使用した。70℃×22時間、25%変形の条件にて測定した。

2Lのセパラブルフラスコの重合容器内を窒素置換したのち、注射器を用いてn−ヘキサン61.5gおよび塩化ブチル743.8g(いずれもモレキュラーシーブスで乾燥したもの)を加え、重合容器を−70℃のドライアイス/メタノールバス中につけて冷却した。イソブチレンモノマー235mL(2484mmol)が入っている三方コック付耐圧ガラス製液化採取管にテフロン(登録商標)製の送液チューブを接続し、重合容器内にイソブチレンモノマーを窒素圧により送液した。p−ジクミルクロライド0.50g(2.16mmol)およびN,N'−ジメチルアセトアミド0.464g(4.97mmol)を加えた。次に四塩化チタン4.93g(26.0mmol)を加えて重合を開始した。重合開始から1時間40分同じ温度で撹拌を行なったのち、重合溶液からサンプリング用として重合溶液約1mLを抜き取った。続いて、スチレンモノマー60.7g(583mmol)及びパラメチルスチレン7.64g(64.7mmol)の混合物を、重合容器内に添加した。該混合溶液を添加してから1時間45分後に、大量の水に加えて反応を終了させた。
2Lのセパラブルフラスコの重合容器内を窒素置換したのち、注射器を用いてn−ヘキサン61.5gおよび塩化ブチル743.8g(いずれもモレキュラーシーブスで乾燥したもの)を加え、重合容器を−70℃のドライアイス/メタノールバス中につけて冷却した。イソブチレンモノマー235mL(2484mmol)が入っている三方コック付耐圧ガラス製液化採取管にテフロン(登録商標)製の送液チューブを接続し、重合容器内にイソブチレンモノマーを窒素圧により送液した。p−ジクミルクロライド0.50g(2.16mmol)およびN,N'−ジメチルアセトアミド0.464g(4.97mmol)を加えた。次に四塩化チタン4.93g(26.0mmol)を加えて重合を開始した。重合開始から1時間40分同じ温度で撹拌を行なったのち、重合溶液からサンプリング用として重合溶液約1mLを抜き取った。続いて、スチレンモノマー67.4g(648mmol)を、重合容器内に添加した。該混合溶液を添加してから1時間45分後に、大量の水に加えて反応を終了させた。
製造例1で製造したブロック共重合体(I)を、180℃に設定したラボプラストミル((株)東洋精機製作所製)を用いて5分間溶融混練し、次いで架橋助剤(III)-1を表1に示した割合で添加し、2分間引き続き混練した。架橋剤(II)-1を投入し、さらに溶融混練し2分間動的架橋を行なった。得られた組成物を170℃プレス成型機によりプレス成形し、厚み2mmのシートを得た。得られたシートの圧縮永久歪み、ゲル分率を上記方法にしたがって測定した。
架橋助剤(III)-1の添加部数を10に変えた以外は、実施例1と同様に実施し、エラストマー組成物を得た。
架橋助剤として、架橋助剤(III)-2を5部用いた以外は、実施例1と同様に実施し、エラストマー組成物を得た。
架橋剤として、架橋剤(II)-2を5部用いた以外は、実施例3と同様に実施し、エラストマー組成物を得た。
架橋剤(II)を添加した後30秒後に、酸化防止剤として0.5部の酸化防止剤(IV)-1を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様に実施し、エラストマー組成物を得た。
架橋剤(II)を添加した後30秒後に、酸化防止剤として0.5部の酸化防止剤(IV)-2を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様に実施し、エラストマー組成物を得た。
製造例2で製造したブロック共重合体(J)を、180℃に設定したラボプラストミル((株)東洋精機製作所製)を用いて5分間溶融混練し、次いで架橋助剤(III)-1を表1に示した割合で添加し、2分間引き続き混練した。架橋剤(II)-1を投入し、さらに溶融混練し2分間動的架橋を行なった。得られたエラストマー組成物は180℃で容易にシート状に成形することができた。
製造例1で製造したブロック共重合体(I)を、180℃に設定したラボプラストミル((株)東洋精機製作所製)を用いて9分間溶融混練した。
製造例1で製造したブロック共重合体(I)を、180℃に設定したラボプラストミル((株)東洋精機製作所製)を用いて5分間溶融混練し、次いで架橋剤(II)-1を投入し、さらに溶融混練し2分間動的架橋を行なった。
Claims (7)
- 芳香族ビニル化合物単位からなる重合体ブロック(A)を1個以上およびイソブチレン単位からなる重合体ブロック(B)を1個以上有し、重合体ブロック(A)中に、炭素数1〜8のアルキル基の少なくとも1個がベンゼン環に結合したアルキルスチレンに由来する構造単位を重合体ブロック(A)の質量に対して1質量%以上の割合で有するブロック共重合体(I)、架橋剤(II)、および架橋助剤(III)を含有し、少なくともブロック共重合体(I)中のアルキルスチレンのアルキル基が、架橋助剤(III)と溶融条件下に動的に架橋されたことを特徴とするエラストマー組成物。
- ブロック共重合体(I)100質量部に対して、架橋剤(II)及び架橋助剤(III)をそれぞれ0.1〜20質量部の割合で含有することを特徴とするエラストマー組成物。
- 架橋剤(II)が有機過酸化物である請求項1または2に記載のエラストマー組成物。
- 架橋助剤(III)がビスマレイミド系化合物である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のエラストマー組成物。
- ビスマレイミド系化合物が、ベンゼン環に結合したアルキル基部分および不飽和二重結合部分で架橋を生じさせ得るビスマレイミド系化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物である請求項4に記載のエラストマー組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のエラストマー組成物からなる成形品。
- 芳香族ビニル化合物単位からなる重合体ブロック(A)を1個以上およびイソブチレン単位からなる重合体ブロック(B)を1個以上有し、重合体ブロック(A)中に、炭素数1〜8のアルキル基の少なくとも1個がベンゼン環に結合したアルキルスチレンに由来する構造単位を重合体ブロック(A)の質量に対して1質量%以上の割合で有するブロック共重合体(I)100質量部を、溶融条件下で、まず架橋助剤(III)、ついで架橋剤(II)をそれぞれ0.1〜20質量部の割合で混合することを特徴とするエラストマー組成物の製造方法。
