Abstract
【解決手段】インクジェットヘッド101は、ノズルプレート9とマニホールドプレート7とを積層して真空条件下で高温状態にして加圧することにより接合し、ノズルプレート9にノズル10を形成し、ノズルプレート9のインク吐出面に撥水膜92を形成した後、マニホールドプレート7に金属プレート3、4及び6を積層させて接合し、さらに、キャビティプレート3の表面にアクチュエータユニット2を接合することにより製造する。

Description
沿って1列に配列された孔13が形成されている。さらに、ベースプレート4の長手方向の一端部には、その短手方向に沿って孔16a、16bが形成されている。孔16aはキャビティプレート3の孔15aに対応する位置に配置されているとともに、孔16bはキャビティプレート3の孔15bに対応する位置に配置されている。

Claims (4)
- ノズルに連通するインク流路を有するインクジェットヘッドの製造方法であって、
前記インク流路の一部をなす流路形成孔が形成された金属製の第1プレートに、別の金属製の第2プレートを所定温度で加熱しながら加圧して接合する接合工程と、
前記第2プレートに、前記第1プレートの前記流路形成孔に連通する前記ノズルを形成するノズル形成工程と、
を備えたことを特徴とするインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記ノズル形成工程において、前記流路形成孔を通して前記第2プレートにパンチを打ち込むことで、前記第2プレートにその表面側に貫通しない凸部を形成した後、前記凸部を除去して前記第2プレートの表面側を平坦化するとともにノズルを形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記ノズル形成工程の後に、前記第2プレートの前記第1プレートと反対側のインク吐出面に撥水膜を形成する撥水膜形成工程を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記撥水膜形成工程において、前記所定温度よりも耐熱温度の低い材料で前記撥水膜を形成することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
