【解決手段】不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)、光重合開始剤(U−2)、ハーフエステル基含有アクリル共重合体(A−1)及びエポキシ基含有アクリル共重合体(A−2)を含有するクリヤー塗料組成物。

Description
上記不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)は、(メタ)アクリレート基を有する化合物であることが好ましい。
工程2を行った後の被塗装物を加熱することによって硬化させる工程(工程3)からなることを特徴とするクリヤー塗膜形成方法でもある。
上記不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)は、(メタ)アクリレート基を有する化合物であることが好ましい。
以下に、本発明を詳細に説明する。
更に、上記エポキシ基を有する成分(c−2)としては、例えば、上記成分(C−1)で述べたポリオールに対してエピクロロヒドリンを付加反応させて得られるものであってもよい。
なお、貯蔵安定性の観点から、上記樹脂においては、エポキシ基を含有しないアクリル系モノマーであることが好ましい。
コンデンサー、溶剤回収装置、撹拌棒、温度計、窒素導入管を備えたフラスコに4,4´−イソプロピリデンジシクロヘキサノール54.5部とジメチルマロネート150部を仕込み、120〜130℃に昇温した。エステル交換反応で生成するメタノールを留去しながら、徐々に150〜180℃まで加温した。メタノール14.5部の留去が終了した後、減圧下で未反応のジメチルマロネート90部を蒸留にて回収した。約50℃まで冷却した後、酢酸ブチル17.6部を加えてポリエステル樹脂溶液を得た。得られたポリエステル樹脂溶液の固形分は85.7重量%、GPCによる数平均分子量は660で活性水素当量は110であった。
コンデンサー、撹拌棒、温度計、滴下ロート、窒素導入管を備えたフラスコに酢酸ブチルを96部を入れ110℃に昇温し保持した後、親水性モノマーとしてヒドロキシルエチルアクリレート34部、疎水性モノマーとしてラウリルメタクリレート34部、その他のモノマーとしてスチレン20部およびエチルアクリレート12部と開始剤カヤエステル−O(化薬アクゾ社製、t−ブチルパーオキシヘキサノエート)5部とを混合した物を3時間かけて滴下した。その後110℃で30分撹拌した後、カヤエステル−O 0.5部を酢酸ブチル5部に溶解した物を30分かけて滴下した。さらに110℃で1時間撹拌してアクリル樹脂溶液を得た。得られたアクリル樹脂溶液の固形分は59.5重量%、GPCによる数平均分子量は7000であった。
製造例2と同様な装置を備えたフラスコに、製造例2で得られたアクリル樹脂61部に酢酸ブチル34部を加え110℃に昇温し保持した後、グリシジルメタクリレート35部とヒドロキシルエチルアクリレート35部とから成るモノマー混合液に、開始剤カヤエステル−O(化薬アクゾ社製、t−ブチルパーオキシヘキサノエート)0.7部を混合した物を3時間かけて滴下した。その後110℃で1時間撹拌した後、カヤエステル−O 0.1部を酢酸ブチル6部に溶解した物を添加した。さらに110℃で1時間撹拌して非水分散体を得た。得られた非水分散体の固形分は63.0重量%、レーザー光散乱装置(大塚電子社製、DSL−700)を用いて得られたこの非水分散体の平均粒径は215nmであった。また東機産業社製R115型粘度計にて測定した20℃における粘度は490mPa/Sであった。
製造例2と同様な装置を備えたフラスコに、製造例2で得られたアクリル樹脂61部にn−ブタノール34部を加え120℃に昇温し保持した後、ヒドロキシルエチルアクリレート30部とメチルメタクリレート10部とSMC−80H(三洋化成工業社製、2−(メタクリロイルオキシ)エチルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド、80%水溶液)9部とから成るモノマー混合液に、開始剤カヤエステル−O(化薬アクゾ社製、t−ブチルパーオキシヘキサノエート)0.7部を混合した物を3時間かけて滴下した。その後120℃で1時間撹拌した後、カヤエステル−O 0.1部を酢酸ブチル6部に溶解した物を添加した。さらに120℃で1時間撹拌して非水分散体を得た。得られた非水分散体の固形分は62.1重量%、レーザー光散乱装置(大塚電子社製、DSL−700)を用いて得られたこの非水分散体の平均粒径は151nmであった。また東機産業社製R115型粘度計にて測定した20℃における粘度は390mPa・sであった。
製造例2と同様な装置を備えたフラスコに、酢酸ブチルを96部を入れ110℃に昇温し保持した後、グリシジルメタクリレート50部とヒドロキシルエチルアクリレート20部とスチレン30部から成るモノマー混合液に、開始剤カヤエステル−O(化薬アクゾ社製、t−ブチルパーオキシヘキサノエート)10部を混合した物を3時間かけて滴下した。その後110℃で30分撹拌した後、カヤエステル−O 0.5部を酢酸ブチル5部に溶解した物を30分かけて滴下した。さらに110℃で1時間撹拌してアクリル樹脂溶液を得た。得られたアクリル樹脂溶液の固形分は53.6重量%、GPCによる数平均分子量は3000であった。
スチレン80部、n−ブチルメタクリレート183部、3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシルメチルメタクリレート137部、カヤエステル−O18部及び開始剤を混合し、4つ口フラスコ内にキシレン360部を仕込んだ中に110℃で3時間かけて滴下した。その後110℃で0.5時間熟成した。さらにカヤエステル−O(t−ブチルペルオキシオクテート)2部、キシレン40部を混合し、110℃で0.5時間かけて滴下した後1.5時間熟成した。得られたアクリル樹脂溶液は不揮発分50.0%、GPCによる数平均分子量約4800、エポキシ当量286であった。
2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート130部、メチルメタクリレート108部、スチレン76部、n−ブチルアクリレート86部、カヤエステル−O18部及び開始剤を混合し、4つ口フラスコ内にキシレン360部を仕込んだ中に110℃で3時間かけて滴下した。その後110℃で0.5時間熟成した。さらにカヤエステル−O(t−ブチルペルオキシオクテート)2部、キシレン40部を混合し、110℃で0.5時間かけて滴下した後1.5時間熟成した。得られたアクリル樹脂溶液は不揮発分49.8%、GPCによる数平均分子量約5300、水酸基当量400であった。
チヌビン384(チバガイギー社製紫外線吸収剤)2部、チヌビン292(チバガイギー社製光安定剤)2部、日本ペイント社製アクリル系表面調整剤(固形分50重量%)2部を混合して、添加剤溶液を得た。
市販のクリヤー塗料であるマックフローO−1810クリヤー(商品名、日本ペイント社製酸エポキシ硬化型クリヤー塗料)52部(固形分換算)に対して、M−400(東亞合成株式会社製、ジペンタエリスリトールペンタアクリレート及びヘキサアクリレート混合物)10部、LUCILIN TPO(BASF社製光重合開始剤)1部を添加する以外は、実施例1と同様にしてクリヤー塗料組成物を調製し、試験板への塗装を行い、評価を行った。
製造例1で得た活性メチレン基含有ポリエステル30部、製造例3で得たエポキシ基を有する非水分散体20部、製造例4で得た4級アンモニウム塩を有する非水分散体10部、A−TMM−3L(新中村化学社製特殊アクリレート)10部、ダロキュア−1173(チバ・スペシャリティー・ケミカルズ)1部、LUCILIN TPO(BASF社製光重合開始剤)1部をディスパーにて撹拌、混合して均一にした後、さらに得られた添加剤溶液を加えて撹拌し、硬化性塗料生成物を得た。得られた硬化性塗料生成物を酢酸n−ブチルによって、塗料組成物の粘度をNO.4フォードカップ(20℃)で30秒になるように希釈した。得られたクリヤー塗料組成物を使用して実施例1と同様に試験板への塗装を行い、評価を行った。
A−TMM−3L(新中村化学社製特殊アクリレート)10部にかえてM−400(東亞合成株式会社製、ジペンタエリスリトールペンタアクリレート及びヘキサアクリレート混合物)20部を使用した以外は、実施例3と同様に塗料組成物を調製し、試験板への塗装を行い、評価を行った。
マックフローO−1800クリヤーにかえてO−1100クリヤー(商品名、日本ペイント社製2液ウレタン型クリヤー塗料)を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様に塗料組成物を調製し、試験板への塗装を行い、評価を行った。
マックフローO−1800クリヤーにかえてスーパーラックO−100クリヤー(商品名、日本ペイント社製アクリル樹脂及びメラミン樹脂を含有するクリヤー塗料組成物)を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様に塗料組成物を調製し、試験板への塗装を行い、評価を行った。
クリヤー塗料として、比較製造例1で合成した樹脂溶液400部(樹脂固形分200部)、A-TMM-3L(新中村化学社製特殊アクリレート)40部、ダロキュアー1173(チバスペシャリティケミカルズ社製光重合開始剤)1部、CI−2855(日本曹達社製光酸発生剤)0.3部をディスパーにて撹拌、混合して均一にした後、硬化性塗料生成物を得た。得られた硬化性塗料生成物を酢酸n-ブチルによって、塗料組成物の粘度をNO.4フォードカップ(20℃)で30秒になるように希釈した。次に実施例1と同様にして所定の加熱条件で、硬化性塗料を調整し、試験板を得た。その結果を表1に示した。
クリヤー塗料として、比較製造例2で合成した樹脂溶液400部(樹脂固形分200部)、A−TMM−3L(新中村化学社製特殊アクリレート)50部、デスモジュールBL−3175(住友バイエルウレタン社製、ポリブロックイソシアネート化合物)108部、ジブチルスズジラウレート(硬化反応触媒)1部、ダロキュアー1173(チバスペシャリティケミカルズ社製光重合開始剤)1部、をディスパーにて撹拌、混合して均一にした後、硬化性塗料生成物を得た。得られた硬化性塗料生成物を酢酸n−ブチルによって、塗料組成物の粘度をNO.4フォードカップ(20℃)で30秒になるように希釈した。次に実施例1と同様にして所定の加熱条件で、硬化性塗料を調整し、試験板を得た。その結果を表1に示した。
UVを照射しないこと以外は、実施例4と同様に塗料組成物を調製し、試験板を得た。その結果を表1に示した。
(1)粘度測定:上記塗装試験板の変わりにブリキ板を用いた以外は同様の操作を行い、UVを照射する前のブリキ板の塗膜と照射した後のブリキ板の塗膜をそれぞれかき取り、それぞれの粘度についてE型粘度計(東機産業株式会社製VISCONIC EMD粘度計)を用い温度25℃において粘度測定した。
(2)タレ評価:塗料試験板の下部の塗装していない30mmの部位に塗装した部分の塗料が加熱硬化後に何mmタレているかを実測した。
(3)鉛筆硬度:JIS K5400 8.4.2に準拠して鉛筆硬度を測定した。
(4)塗膜外観:得られた硬化塗膜の表面状態をスガ試験機社製光沢計を用いて60度グロスを測定し、外観を評価した。評価基準を以下の通りとした。
◎ 90以上
〇 80−90
△ 50−80
× 50以下
(5)耐温水性試験:得られた硬化塗膜を40℃の温水中に10日間浸漬した後、塗膜表面を以下の基準により目視評価した。
◎:変化が観察されない。
△:かすかに痕跡が見られる。
×:明確に痕跡が見られる。
(6)耐候性試験:得られた硬化塗膜を岩崎電気社製アイスーパーUVテスターSUV−W23試験機で1サイクル(照射24時間、結露24時間)を10サイクル分の耐候性試験を行った。その後、60度グロスを測定し、外観を評価した。評価基準を以下の通りとした。
◎ 90以上
〇 80−90
△ 50−80
× 50以下
Claims (6)
- 不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)、光重合開始剤(U−2)、ハーフエステル基含有アクリル共重合体(A−1)及びエポキシ基含有アクリル共重合体(A−2)を含有することを特徴とするクリヤー塗料組成物。
- 不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)、光重合開始剤(U−2)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B−1)及びポリイソシアネート化合物(B−2)を含有することを特徴とするクリヤー塗料組成物。
- 不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)は、(メタ)アクリレート基を有する化合物である請求項1又は2記載のクリヤー塗料組成物。
- 請求項1、2又は3に記載のクリヤー塗料組成物を被塗装物に対して塗布する工程(工程1)、
工程1によって得られた未硬化塗膜に対して、略垂直面からエネルギー線を照射する工程(工程2)、及び、
工程2を行った後の被塗物を加熱することによって硬化させる工程(工程3)
からなることを特徴とするクリヤー塗膜形成方法。 - クリヤー塗料組成物を塗装する工程からなる塗膜形成方法であって、
クリヤー塗料組成物は、不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)、光重合開始剤(U−2)、活性メチレン基及び/又は活性メチン基を有する成分(C−1)並びにマイケル反応触媒(C−2)を含有するクリヤー塗料組成物であり、
クリヤー塗料組成物を被塗装物に対して塗布する工程(工程1)、
工程1によって得られた未硬化塗膜の略垂直面からエネルギー線を照射する工程(工程2)、並びに、
工程2を行った後の被塗物を加熱することによって硬化させる工程(工程3)
からなることを特徴とするクリヤー塗膜形成方法。 - 不飽和結合を有する紫外線硬化性化合物(U−1)は、(メタ)アクリレート基を有する化合物である請求項4又は5記載のクリヤー塗膜形成方法。
