- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 信号を時間的に遅延する遅延ユニットと、 前記信号を遅延ユニットから受信し、前記信号をダウンサンプリングする間引 器と、 前記信号を間引器から受信し、前記信号の位相を回転させる位相回転器と、を 備える超音波受信ビーム生成器。 2. 前記受信された信号は、少なくとも2つのビームを構成するために用 いられ、前記遅延ユニットは、前記ビームを区別するために信号に時間遅延を適 用する請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 3. 前記遅延ユニットに送られた信号の、ダウンサンプリング、及び、フ ィルタリングのうちの少なくとも1つを行う第2の間引器を備える請求項1に記 載のビーム生成器。 4. 前記間引器は、遅延ユニットから受信した信号をフィルタリングする 請求項1に記載のビーム生成器。 5. 前記位相回転器は、走査線間において、信号サンプルの干渉性の位相 整列を維持する請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 6. 前記位相回転器は、信号サンプルにより構成されるビーム間において 、干渉性の位相整列を維持する請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 7. 前記位相回転器は、位相の回転、復調のバーニャ成分、較正の位相成 分、減衰に起因する受信周波数のダウンシフト、及び、任意の位相シフトとして 、微細な時間遅延を行う手段を備える請求項1に記載 の受信ビーム生成器。 8. 前記位相回転器は、信号サンプルにより構成されるビーム間において 、干渉性の位相整列を維持する複素乗算器を備える請求項1に記載の受信ビーム 生成器。 9. 前記間引器から信号を受信し、周波数の内容に応じて前記信号を時間 的に遅延させる焦点調節フィルタを備える請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 10. 前記焦点調節フィルタは、遅延補間器を備える請求項9に記載の受 信ビーム生成器。 11. 前記位相回転器は、中央制御部から信号サンプルごとの位相調整値 を受信し、信号サンプルにより構成されるビーム間で干渉性の位相整列を維持す る復調周波数の信号サンプルごとの位相成分を計算する局部的制御プロセッサを 備えている請求項8に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 12. 遅延メモリと、 前記遅延メモリに関連し、受信された信号から受信ビームを生成するために、 前記遅延メモリに遅延値を供給するメモリアドレス及び遅延プロセッサを備える 請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 13. 複素乗算器と、 前記複素乗算器に関連し、位相回転値を生成し、微細な時間遅延を位相回転か ら概算して受信信号からビームを生成するために、位相回転値を複素乗算器に供 給する位相及び周波数プロセッサを備える請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 14. 前記位相回転器に供給される別の信号を生成し、第1の信号が媒体 を通過することに起因する第1の信号の減衰を補償する周波数及び位相角生成器 を備え、前記生成器は、以下に示す周波数対時間プロファイルの少なくとも1つ を提供する請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器:(a)周波数が減少し、その後 、経時的に周波数が増加するか、又は、周波数が固定となる、(b)時間が経過 しても周波数が固定値を維持する、又は、(c)経時的に周波数が減少する。 15. 複素乗算器と、 受信信号からビームを生成するために、複素乗算器にアポダイゼーション値を 供給するアポダイゼーションプロセッサと、を備える請求項1に記載の受信ビー ム生成器。 16. 受信信号通路における較正処理中に、利得及び位相の調整値を計算 する較正プロセッサを備える請求項1に記載の受信ビーム生成器。 17. 少なくとも1つのビームを構成するために用いられる信号を処理す るプロセッサを備え、 前記プロセッサは、(1)処理されるビームの数と、(2)空間レンジ分解能 と、(3)公称中心周波数と、のうちの少なくとも2つについて計算による調整 を行い、全体的な計算効率を得る超音波受信ビーム生成器。 18. 前記ビームは、同時に受信されるビームである請求項17に記載の ビーム生成器。 19. 前記プロセッサは、(1)処理されるビームの数と、(2) ビームごとの正規化された空間レンジ分解能と、(3)公称中心周波数と、の積 により表される一定値に基づいて計算的なトレードオフを行って全体的な計算効 率を得る請求17に記載のビーム生成器。 20. 前記プロセッサは、選択された分解能に基づいて前記信号をダウン サンプリングする間引器を備える請求項17に記載のビーム生成器。 21. 前記のプロセッサは、前記信号のサンプルを処理して、単一のプロ セッサにおいて少なくとも1つの受信ビームの成分を構成し、各々のビームを前 記プロセッサ内のチャンネルに関連付ける請求項17に記載のビーム生成器。 22. 前記デジタルプロセッサは、複数のデジタルマルチチャンネル受信 プロセッサを備え、各々のデジタルマルチチャンネル受信プロセッサは、前記信 号のサンプルを処理して、少なくとも1つの受信ビームの成分を構成し、各々の 受信ビームを前記デジタルマルチチャンネル受信プロセッサ内のチャンネルと関 連づける請求項17に記載のビーム生成器。 23. 前記の受信ビームの各々は、共通の公称中心周波数から生成された 搬送周波数に関連し、 前記プロセッサは、公称中心周波数に基づいて、前記信号の分解能を調整する 請求項17に記載のビーム生成器。
