Abstract

La presente invenzione riguarda un procedimento per l'ottenimento continuo di politereftalato di etilene modificato con gruppi -SiO- in quantità di 300 - 700 ppm di Si, nel corso della reazione di esterificazione diretta tra l'acido tereftalico e il glicole etilenico, quindi policondensazione in modo noto mediante introduzione di silicato di metossietile oppure di silicato di propile in corrispondenza di un momento in cui il prepolimero ha un peso molecolare medio ponderale compreso tra 9000 e 16000, un indice di polidisperdibilità compreso tra 1,5 e 2 e si trova ad una temperatura compresa tra 260°C e 290°C e sotto una pressione compresa tra 1,5 e 2,5 bar, il tempo di reazione silicato/prepolimero essendo di almeno 5 minuti.La presente invenzione riguarda anche fibre che non presentano la formazione di bottoni ottenute dal politereftalato di etilene modificato e riguarda anche il loro procedimento di ottenimento.
