Abstract
The pressure control unit has an inlet chamber, for connection to a transmitter cylinder; an outlet chamber, for connection to a take-off cylinder; and an intermediate valve, which closes at a pre-determined switching pressure. A parallel back-pressure valve opens against a closing force, due to a pressure reduction in the inlet chamber relative to the outlet chamber. The valve has a plunger (12) with a cylindrical elastic valve body (19), which is located at a radial distance to the wall of the outlet chamber (17). The external cylindrical surface of the valve body is reinforced, so that a deformation in the radial direction against the outlet chamber wall is prevented.
