Abstract

Starting device for an actuator with cushioned piston, comprising on one face a cushioning ring (6) interacting at the end of the stroke with a floating valve (7) arranged in a circular housing (8) in the innermost end of the actuator to form a cushioning chamber. Said housing (8) has one side open onto the cushioning chamber (20) and comprises a retaining means (9) for the valve (7). A second side (81) opposite it forms with the opposing wall of the periphery of the valve an intermediate chamber (82) connected by a passage (80) to a chamber (31) for commanding the actuator. Said valve comprises a first means (70) of permanent communication between the cushioning chamber and the intermediate chamber, a second means (73) for closing off the passage between the intermediate chamber and the command chamber when the valve is pressed against said retaining means under the effect of the pressure of the command chamber and a third sealing means (72) interacting with the ring.
