Abstract

A találmány tárgya eljárás N2O lebontására salétromsav előállításánáloly módon, hogy az abszorpciós toronyból elvezetett, N2O-tartalmúhulladékgázokat legalább egy oxidos kobaltvegyületet, és legalább egyoxidos magnéziumvegyületet tartalmazó katalizátorral érintkeztet olyankörülmények között, amik lehetővé teszik az N2O átalakításátgázformájú nitrogénné és oxigénné, ahol az oxidos kobaltvegyületmennyisége 0,1-50 tömeg%, és az oxidos magnéziumvegyület mennyisége50-99,9 tömeg% a katalizátor össztömegére vonatkoztatva, és ahol akatalizátorban található kobaltatomok legalább 30 százaléka kémiailag3 vegyértékű állapotban van.
