990,014. Hair clippers. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. Dec. 13, 1963 [Dec. 17, 1962], No. 49351/63. Heading B4B. In a hair clipper comprising reciprocable blades 5, 6 and a cover plate 10, the plate 10 has projecting side edges 12, 13 which terminate in protrusions 14, 15 between which the front edge 16 of the plate is set back to expose the teeth of the blades. The plate, which may be made of synthetic resin, has a projecting portion 9 which is secured to the easing 1 of the clipper by a screw 23. The blade 5 is reciprooable by means of a pin 4 projecting from the end of a spindle 2 which is adapted to be coupled to a driving shaft projecting from a motor or handle.
