Abstract

982,879. Filing papers. SPERRY RAND CORPORATION. May 3, 1963 [May 7, 1962], No. 17484/63. Heading B6E. A card holder 10 for use in a visible card index comprises a transparent sheet 11 adapted to support a record card 18. A flap member 19 is secured to the sheet 11 by a strip 22 of pressure sensitive adhesive and to a strip 24 of cardboard by staples 25. The ends 26 of the strip 24 project beyond the sides of the flap member to provide lugs by means of which the card holder is mounted in said visible card index. The flap member is provided with apertures 27 to form a hinge. A transparent sheath 13 is attached to the lower edge of the sheet 11 by staples 15 to form a pocket adapted to receive the lower edge of the record card.
