Abstract

977,781. Endless conveyers. STAHLWERKE BRUNINGHAUS G.m.b.H. June 7, 1961 [June 11, 1960], No. 20612/61. Heading B8A. An endless conveyer member 1 is secured to a link 8 of the conveyer chain by means of members 6, 6, which are held in engagement with a lug 2 of the member 1 by nut and bolt members 16-19. The action of screwing up the members 16-19 brings arcuate surfaces 10, 14 into clamping engagement with the link 8. The members 6, 6 may be identical as shown or alternatively one member 6 may be interleaved with a fork-shaped portion of the other. In a further modification (Figs. 2, 3, not shown) the bolt 16 extends right through both members 6.
