In a cycle hub generally similar to that described in Specification 826,892 and in which a simple sun-ring train with a permanently fixed sun 12 provides reduced-, over-, and directdrive by axial movement of a single input clutch dog, the dog 4 is modified by the provision of internal teeth 68 or external teeth 7 engageable with corresponding clutch teeth 8 formed on the planet carrier 9, and may in addition have external teeth 66 engageable with internal teeth 17 formed on the ring gear 14.
