Abstract
962,355. Disposable hats. CHEADLE ROYAL HOSPITAL. April 30, 1963 [Jan. 31, 1962; Feb. 2, 1962], Nos. 3584/62 and 4218/62. Heading A3V. A disposable paper hat of shape shown in Fig. 2 is made from a rectangular sheet of crepe paper 1 to which is adhesively secured at opposite sides, along margins 2a, 3a, thin card strips 2 and 3 (Fig. 3). The sheet is folded at the centre until the lower edges register then the card strips 2, 3 are folded so as to lie against the paper (Fig. 6) and again folded to form the assembly a s shown in (Fig. 7). The ends are bound by adhesive coated material, stapling or stitching (Fig. 2). The hat may be folded flat for easy storage.
