952,578. Roll holders. P. JEND. Nov. 19, 1962 [Nov. 20, 1961], No. 43584/62. Heading A4G. A wall bracket for holding a roll comprises a roll holding member 2, 9, a securing member 3, 11 and a mounting 1 in which axles 15, 16 on both members are mounted for rotation through a semi-circle and are constructed to prevent the members being separated from the mounting when the latter is secured to a wall, the free ends of the members having respectively a projection 10 and an opening 12 whereby they may be secured together to hold the roll by resiliently bending the holding member and in which the free ends may be disengaged only in a predetermined position of the members with respect to the mounting in which the axle of the holding member, which is of non-circular section fits into a corresponding groove of the mounting. The axles each have a lateral end tab whereby they can only enter the bore 8 of the mounting with the tab passing through the groove 7, when the mounting has not been fixed to a wall. With the mounting on the wall the axles become inseparable therefrom. Axle 16 has a limited amount of horizontal movement whereby the catch 17 on the holding member snaps secure through the opening 12 in the free end of the securing member due to the flexure of the arm 2. When the roll has been used the arms 2, 3 are substantially vertical and flaps on the axle 15 permits the holding member 2, 9 to be hinged at the point x with the flattened axle entering the groove 7 whereby the catch 10 may be released from the hole 12.
