Abstract

169,325. Anderson, W. H. July 13, 1920. Bobbin holders.-A holder for rolls of toilet paper &c. is constructed in such a manner that the roll cannot be removed when once in position until all or nearly all the paper has been used. The roll is held by rollers 13 on arms 6 pivoted to a foundation plate 1 by pivots 4, 5, of which the latter has a conical end 8 slotted longitudinally at 11 so that when the roll is so reduced in diameter that the arms 6 are nearly vertical the pivot pin 5 can be slid outwards, a spring pin 10 in this position registering with the slot 11. In all other positions, however, the pin 10 and slot 11 do not register, so that the pivot pin 5 cannot be withdrawn.
