935,148. Knitting-machines. F. LONATI, [trading as LONATI DI LONATI FKANCESCO]. Feb. 28, 1962 [Oct. 26, 1961], No. 7889/62. Class 74 (2). The needle cylinder 6 of a circular machine is raised or lowered by a pivoted arm 15, influenced by a cam drum 19 or eccentric 18, raising or lowering a pivoted ring 10 having adjustable screws 12a bearing on the lower end of a sleeve 1 supporting, through a thrust bearing 4 and pins 5, the needle cylinder 6. The lever 15 has an arm 14 with an adjustable screw 13 bearing on the ring 10 and also an adjustable screw 28 bearing on the eccentric 18. Adjustable pins 21 are also secured in the lever 15 and on which cams 20 or the cam drum bear to operate the lever 15.
