933,747. Straps and bands. W. HOPPELER. Feb. 19, 1962 [March 9, 1961], No. 6323/62. Class 109. A binding device for bundles 3 of logs &c, 1, 2 comprises a flexible element 4 having its ends secured to a spacer member 9 and forming two loops 5, 6 connected by a portion 13, the member 9 being a hollow metallic tube having notches 10, 10a which are engaged by the loop 13 of the element 4. The part 13 may be replaced by inserting a tool into an aperture 11 and turning the member 9. In a modification the notches 10, 10a are replaced by arcuate hooks secured to the member 9. Swiss Specification 358,339 is referred to.
