Abstract
929,564. Packages; boxes. BEAR BRAND Ltd. July 20, 1959 [March 7, 1959], No. 7972/59. Classes 18 and 94(1). Stockings are packaged by being folded round an insert 8, 9 which may be separate sheets or, as shown, a folded sheet and placed in a bag 1, portions of which are transparent, the insert fold abutting the bag base. Part 10 of the stockings may overhang the invert to be visible through the bag or the insert may be apertured and the stockings wound round one or more further cards and placed between the portions 8, 9. The whole may be placed in a carton having a lid apertured to expose the contents, Figs. 9, 10 (not shown). The envelope flap 3 is held closed by self adhesive labels 5 which may bear identification information.
