Abstract
777,540. Packages; cartons. BEHR, H. VON, and JAUX, F. Aug. 12, 1955, No. 23336/55. Classes 18 and 94(1). A package 1 of cigarette tobacco is formed with a recess 10 at one end as shown in Fig. 1 for the accommodation of a packet 4 of cigarette papers. In a modification, Fig. 2, recesses 10 and 10<SP>1</SP> are formed at opposite ends of the package for the accommodation of a packet 4 of cigarette papers held in position by folded wall portions and a second packet 4<SP>1</SP> having a closure flap 5 which is secured in the closed position by an adhesive strip 7, the latter being torn to enable the papers 6 to be withdrawn through a slot 8. In a further modification, Fig. 3, the cigarette papers 6 are retained in the recess 10 by a separate cover member 22 adhesively secured to the package wall 3.
