Abstract
925,996. Clamps. JARNFORADLINGS VASTERVIKSFABRIK A.B. June 17, 1960 [July 4, 1959], No. 21394/60. Class 44. A coupling means for the cross-connection or T-connection of tubes in tubular scaffolding, has two recesses 1 therein of substantially U- shaped cross-section adapted to receive the tubes, the recesses being oppositely disposed and crossing one another with their bottoms at substantially the same level, for the crossconnection of the tubes, and between the two recesses 1 the coupling means is also provided with a through hole 5 for the insertion of a tube perpendicular to a tube inserted in one or other of the recesses 1. The coupling means is made of metal, e.g. iron, or synthetic materials, e.g. plastic. Each recess 1 has an abutment 3 on one side thereof and an abutment formed by an adjustable screw (not shown) on the other side thereof, the screw being engaged in a hole 4 and serving to secure a tube in the recess; alternatively, the screw secures a tube inserted through the hole 5.
