925,355. Hydraulic lifting jacks. ETABLISSEMENTS F. RASSANT S.A. Sept. 8, 1959 [May 4, 1959], No. 30584/59. Class 78 (3). An hydraulic jack has between a pump piston 12 operated by handle and a jack-operating piston 9, a single valve unit 16 incorporating a springless inlet valve 20, a spring-controlled outlet valve 24 to permit a flow of oil to raise the jack. When it is desired to lower the jack, a spring-controlled release valve 27 is actuated when the end 12a of the pump piston 12 is brought by the operator to bear on a needle 28 resting on the ball of the valve 27, thus letting the oil return to its tank 5b.
