920,824. Centrifugal mixers. EWOS A.B. July 31, 1961 [Aug. 4, 1960], No. 27748/61. Class 86. In a continuous discharge apparatus for mixing liquid or powder and granular material by centrifugal action, the materials are proportioned by a weighing device 2 and the mixture fed through a duct 3 to the surface of a rapidly rotating disc 5. Outward movement of the materials across the surface of the disc is retarded, as by dishing the upper surface of the disc, Fig. 1, or by providing it with ribs 10, 11, Figs. 2 and 3. There may be more than one rotating disc 5, 8, each discharging to the next or to the outlet as by hoppers 6, 9.
