Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the formula <FORM:0920751/IV(a)/1> where R is C1-6 alkyl, phenyl, vinyl, alkylvinyl, alkoxy-vinyl, alkylmercapto-vinyl or phenyl-vinyl, R1 is alkoxy or, when R is alkyl, R1 may also be alkyl, R2 is alkyl, and R3 is hydrogen or halogen; and their preparation by reacting an appropriate thiophosphonic or thiophosphinic acid halide with an appropriate hydroxy-cumarine. The compounds of the invention are pesticides (see Group VI).ALSO:The invention comprises pesticidal compositions of a solid or liquid carrier and 0.00001 to 1% of a compound of formula <FORM:0920751/VI/1> where R is C1-6 alkyl, phenyl, vinyl, alkylvinyl, alkoxy-vinyl, alkylmercapto-vinyl, or phenyl-vinyl, R1 is alkoxy or, when R is alkyl, R1 may also be alkyl, R2 is alkyl, and R3 is hydrogen or halogen (see Group IV (b)). Specified carriers are talc, chalk, bentonite, clay, water (with emulsifiers if necessary), alcohols, e.g. methanole ethanol, ketones acetone and methyl ethyl ketone and liquid hydrocarbons. Known insecticides and/or fertilizers may be present.
