Classes 39 (2), 75 (4) and 75 (2). < A lamp for use as a warning light comprises a cup-shaped base 1 having an outwardly-extending reflecting flange 2, a bulb holder 3 secured within the base and a domed coloured light transmitting housing 4 engaging in the base 1 inwardly of the flange 2 so as to enclose the bulb holder 3. The flange may be concave and formed in one with the base as a single pressing which may be brightly plated. The housing 4 may be coloured red and ribbed on the inner surface. A flashing bulb may be used.
