Abstract

916,581. Cartons for powders. KAPAFAR BUSINESS TRUST REG. Feb. 29, 1960, No. 7109/60. Class 18. A single blank folded to form a tubular carton has closure flaps 7-10 with apertures 15, 16 therein, the apertures being opened and closed by movement of a tab 20. Initially, the tab is secured to the flap 8 by a frangible connection 18. When the connection is broken, the tab slides in the opening 16 to uncover and to close the apertures 15. The end 19 of the opening 16 against which the tab abuts in the open position has a recess to accommodate the end 20a of the tab. The end flaps are folded in the following sequence 7, 9, 8, 10. In a modification, the tab may be L.shaped,
