Abstract

769,941. Cartons. HOGDAL, S. B. April 5, 1955, No. 10000/55. Class 18. A tubular carton has front end closing flaps, three 6, 8, 9 joined and one 7, separate, the flaps 6, 8 being creased at 11, 12 and cut away at the free corner from the meeting point of the creases, and the carton having a lining 21 protruding above the flaps. In one embodiment, Figs. 2, 3, the protruding portion of the liner is nipped between the free edge of the flap 9 and the hinge line of the flap 7 and enclosed between these flaps when folded flat on the carton end. In the other, Fig. 7, the flaps are of less height than the width of the carton, and the flap 7 has a crease 22 against which the liner portion is nipped by the flaps 9 before being enclosed between these flaps.
