Abstract

889,718. Cartons. SHIRLEY & WARBEY BOX CO. Ltd. April 8, 1959 [April 8, 1958 ; June 3, 1958], Nos. 11104/58 and 17744/58. Class 18. A tubular carton has an end closure comprising two opposed flaps 4 each having a handle portion 5, and two other opposed flaps creased to form external triangular tabs 6, the tabs being subsequently secured to the carton walls or to the handle. In Fig. 2, the tabs are shown secured by engagement with a slot 9 whilst in Fig. 4 the tabs are shown split at 14 and folded over the top flaps 4 and engaging slots 15. The lower end of the carton has interlocking closure flaps.
