Abstract
913,033. Forced recirculation steam boilers. VORKAUF, H. June 30, 1961 [Feb. 8, 1961], No. 23688/61. Addition to 786,412. Class 123 (2). In a forced recirculation steam boiler as described in the parent Specification, each group of tubular elements 1 is connected to a separate collector header 7 and each collector header by a separate pipe line 9 either directly to a steam and water drum 8 or to an intermediate header itself connected by a single line 10 to the drum. The intermediate header and the drum are mounted below the lowest collector header. A non-return valve 11 is mounted in the line 10 and individual non-return valves may also be mounted in the lines 9 to prevent backflow of water to any group of heating elements which has been isolated.
