Abstract
An alloy, which may be employed as a structural member in high temperature boilers, contains in percentage by weight:- .Al..3-10 .Mo..0.1-4 .Be.optionally present.0.05-1 .B..0-1 .Zr..balance Unalloyed sponge zirconium may be compacted with pellets or other suitable shapes of the alloying constituents into a consumable electrode which is then vacuum arc melted.
