Abstract

A weldable titanium-base alloy has a composition in per cent by weight in the following range: Al 5.0-9.0, Ta 0.33-3.33, Nb 0.33-3.33, Ti and impurities the balance. The alloy may contain as impurities C up to 0.06, N up to 0.03, O up to 0.15, H up to 0.024. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 782,564.
