Abstract

897,929. Structural bars. WODLI, E. Sept. 4, 1958 [Sept. 6, 1957; March 28, 1958], No. 28389/58. Class 20(2) [Also in Group XIV] Frame members 2 for shelving, racks &c. are provided with regularly-spaced key-hole shaped apertures 4 to permit the insertion of headed bolts or grooved dowels 11 whereby two main members 2 may be connected together and shelves mounted thereon, as also by saddles 17 each formed with a support member 18 and projections 17<SP>1</SP>, the enlarged part 5 of each aperture being disposed intermediate its ends. A doublesaddle arrangement is also described (Fig. 19, not shown). Locking plates 25 (Fig. 14, not shown) may be fitted to prevent the headed bolts from slacking-off and braces 14 (Fig. 13, not shown) may be attached at the corners of the framework to give added rigidity. Hook members 22 furnished with cross members 24 and projections 29 may also be provided for use in apertures 4, 5.
