Abstract

990,559. Shelving; stands. L. MASLOW. July 17, 1962 [July 25, 1961], No. 27410/62. Headings A4B and A4H. The shelves 12 of a structure 10 each comprise spaced rods 36 welded to transverse ribs 37 the frame so formed having pairs of ribs 38 and 39 at front and rear which are reinforced by bent wire 40 and which have pairs of notches 26, 27, 28, and 29 at their ends to engage the pairs of uprights 32 and 33 of supporting frames 14. The uprights are connected by stiffeners 34 with U-shaped expansion elements 18 at their centres whereby the uprights may spring apart slightly to tightly engage the notched ribs 37; levelling screws are provided.
