Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the formula <FORM:0889514/IV (b)/1> (wherein R and R1 are each aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals of 6 to 17 carbon atoms and R2 and R3 are each hydrogen atoms or alkyl radicals of at most 6 carbon atoms) and their preparation by reacting corresponding 2,5-dihalogeno - 3, 6 - bis - acylamino - p - benzo - quinones with ethylene imine or a C-alkylated ethylene imine. Examples are given. 2, 5 - Dichloro - 3, 6 - bis - oenant hoylamino - p - benzoquinone is prepared from 2,5-dichloro-3,6-diamino-benzoquinone and oenanthic anhydride. 2, 5 - Dichloro - 3, 6 - bis - capramido - p - benzo - quinone is prepared similarly.ALSO:Pharmaceutical compositions comprise a compound of the formula <FORM:0889514/VI/1> (wherein R and R1 are each aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals of 6 to 17 carbon atoms and R2 and R3 are each hydrogen atoms or alkyl radicals of at most 6 carbon atoms) in admixture or conjunction with a pharmaceutical carrier. They may take the form of tablets, dragees, powders, salves, creams, suppositories, solutions, suspensions or emulsions and they may also contain preserving, stabilizing, wetting or emulsifying agents, and other therapeutically valuable substances.
