889,428. Tables. DOHERTY & SONS Ltd., EDWARD. Dec. 5, 1960 [Dec. 4, 1959], No. 41266/59. Class 52(3) A bed table has an adjustable top 1 mounted on a cantilever arm 2 by means of a bearing 6 in the form of a screw clamp and a bracket 7 with an oblate opening through which the arm 2 passes and is secured by pin 10 and washer 9, the opening 8 having a central detent 11 engageable with a hole in arm 2 when the top is horizontal. To tilt the top 1 it is lifted to disengage the detent from hole 12. Arm 2 is adjustable on a telescopic pedestal and locked by a clamping screw 5.
