Abstract

889,348. Shirt collars. DONNER, I. Aug. 19, 1959 [Sept. 29, 1958], No. 31055/58. Class 141 In a shirt collar comprising one-piece facing layers on opposite sides of a lining, the lining consists of two overlapping parts 6, 8 connected by a flat seam 10 of herringbone stitching which defines a curved fold-line 12. A one-piece interlining is provided between the lining and the outer facing layer. The inner face of the lining part 8 adjacent each collar point is reinforced with a patch 14 and a synthetic plastic strip 16. The collar may be detachably or permanently attached to a shirt.
