Abstract

831,298. Collars for personal wear. STEVENS, LORIE & PERRY Ltd. Oct 3, 1958 [July 3, 1957], No. 20946/57. Class 141 In a collar comprising outer layers A and a thermoplastic interlining B extending over the whole area of the collar, an additional layer C is provided between the interlining and one of the outer layers in the collar top only, its lower edge C 1 being curved to define the collar fold-line. In one form, the layer C is of relatively thick, non-fusible material and prevents fusion of one of the layers A in the collar top. In a second form, the layer C is of thermoplastic material, so that both outer layers are fused. The outer layers A preferably consist of warp-knitted nylon fabric.
