Abstract
519,816. Raincoats &c. STEWART, T. D. May 24, 1939, No. 28979/38. [Class 141] A raincoat or the like of gabardine tweed, worsted or other material a is provided with a lining of rubberized waterproof material b, such as rubberized proofed cotton, silk, artificial silk, satin or the like, the proofing being only on that face d which is directed towards the outer fabric of the garment, and an interlining c of unproofed wool, cotton, or the like, material, which may be permanently secured to the lining, preferably by stitching to form a geometrical pattern after the manner of quilting. A second interlining of proofed material may be deposed between the interlining and the outer fabric of the garment.
