Class 52(1) In sheet metal cabinets of the filing drawer type, the rear edges of the sides 1 and the edges of the back 2 are flanged as shown in Fig. 5 so that they can be engaged by sliding, the top edges of the sides and the edges of the top 3 are flanged as shown in Fig. 4 so that they can be engaged by sliding, and the drawer stiles and bottom front rail have tongue and slot connections with the fronts of the sides. As shown in Fig. 7, the drawer stile 7 has projections 8, 9 taking into slots 10, 11 formed in a channel 5 welded to the front of the side 1. The stile is then slid forwards so that flange 1d enters slot 8a in the stile and so that tongue 12 enters slot 13 in the stile. Tongue 12 is then bent over to secure the parts in position. As shown in Fig. 9, the rail 14 is similarly engaged with the side but also has a floor engaging flange with a turned up part 14a having slots 18 receiving tongues 17 formed on channels 5, tongues 17 then being bent over. As shown in Fig. 10, the rail 14 has a subsidiary channel 23 having tongues 24 taking into slots 25 in channels 5, screws 26 holding the parts assembled. A floor is screwed to rail 14 and the bottom of back 2.
