Abstract

1,170,546. Cupboards. HOLZBAU-UND FINANZ-ETAB. 20 March, 1967 [13 April, 1966], No. 13002/67. Heading A4H. A cupboard comprises a front frame made of members 1, 2, 3, 4 of U-section adapted to receive the edges of panels 15, 15, (20), 21, the limbs of the U-section of two 1, 2 of the members 1, 2, 3, 4 having inwardly directed projections 8 which engage in grooves 17 in the panels. The limbs of the U-section are resilient and the projections 8 are either wedge shaped or arctuate. The panels are pressed into the members 1, 2 in a direction perpendicular to the web of the U-section. The edges of the panels are spaced from the webs 69 the U-sections by ribs 7. The members 1, 2, 3, 4 are connected together at their mitred ends by L-shaped connections which are located in the spaces 9 between the ribs 7 and the webs 6 of the U-sections. Tapped plates 13 for door hinges and catches are placed in the spaces 9. Guide rails 18 for top and bottom panels and guide rails 19 for a partition 22 are secured to the side panels 15.
