Abstract
A columbium-titanium-iron-chromium alloy, which is resistant to high temperature oxidation, has the following composition by weight:- Ti 1 to 40%, Fe 8 to 30%, Cr 3 to 35%, V 0 to 10%, W 0 to 30%, Ta 0 to 30%, (V, W, and Ta together being not more than 50%), Ni, and/or Co 0 to 20%, with one or more of the aggregate Ba, Si, Be, Y, B, or rare earth metal, totalling 0 to 5%, and Cb as remainder at least 30%.
