Abstract
Bearings, brushes, sliding-bars and other machine parts subject to sliding stresses are produced from a copper-manganese-zinc alloy of the following composition: Cu more than 60 to 80%, Mn more than 6 to 20%, with Zn, at least 1.5%, the remainder; with or without one or more of Si 0.01 to 1%, Cr 0.01 to 1%, Fe 0.1 to 5%, Ni 0.1 to 8%, Al 0.05 to 1.5% and Sn 0.05 to 2%. Specification 601,027 is referred to.
